Cameron, my youngest son, always experienced severe allergic reactions when he was younger.  He was allergic to milk, soy, wheat, eggs, peanuts and dust. For the first 10 years of his life he would wake up every morning with a green snotty nose.  I had tried everything to support him.  I removed all the fluffy toys, changed his sheets twice a week and it made no difference.  Antihistamines helped but I hated giving him a drug every night.

Then one day I decided to take a sample of his hair, for an allergy test.  When the results came back it confirmed the substances he was allergic to, but there was an additional one - polyester.

Immediately a light went on in my head. Cameron was sleeping in polyester/cotton sheets. That afternoon I drove down to the local organic cotton shop and purchased a set of pure organic cotton sheets and changed his bedding.  The next morning the results were miraculous, he woke up with a completely clear nose and has done so ever since.
Physical or emotional symptoms in children can be caused by their living environment, particularly if it is not natural.  In Cameron's case it was his sheets.
